System-Involved Youth
TML’s (SIY) Program serves as a vital lifeline for young people ages 14 to 24 who are disconnected from traditional education pathways or have been impacted by the juvenile justice system. Rooted in compassion, resilience, and equity, this transformative initiative addresses the multifaceted challenges faced by youth often overlooked or marginalized by society.
What sets the SIY Program apart is its deeply responsive and personalized approach. The program not only listens to participants’ spoken needs but is also attuned to the unspoken—recognizing the urgent necessities of a fresh start, access to identification, driver’s licenses, bank accounts, consistent mentorship, a hot meal, and a safe, supportive environment. Meeting youth exactly where they are, then creating a foundation of trust and stability.
Participants receive comprehensive job training, essential soft skills development, industry-recognized certifications, and opportunities to pursue their high school diploma or GED. More than a program, SIY is a pathway to hope, dignity, and long-term transformation. For many, enrolling marks the first courageous step toward rewriting their story and stepping into a brighter, more empowered future.
